“We are in old age what we have always been, only more so.”
- Rev. Charles E. Goldsmith Ph.D, Chaplain
”In 1974, the first day I volunteered at Congregational Home, I stood in the peaceful Fireplace Lounge and looked out at the beautiful courtyard feeling the love among residents and staff and most of all the presence and love of God. That is why I moved into the Home 14 years ago.”
- Edna Habeck, Resident
“The residents at Congregational Home are treated as ‘persons in Christ,’ no matter how difficult life has become for them. The ministry of the Home is focused on ‘presence’; the presence of God, the presence of another person, the presence of professional care.”
- Rev. Charles E. Goldsmith
