Congregational Home opened in 1974, however, it had already been “in progress” for many years. The inspiration for First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa’s monumental task was born in 1966; the first Board of Directors elected in 1968 and a fund drive intent on raising needed resources was launched in 1971.

At Congregational Home, our philosophy is based upon our Christian heritage and our desire to serve the needs of people of all faiths.
