Spiritual Care

Congregational Home is committed to the holistic care of our residents, families and staff. Spiritual services partners with the other disciples of care to meet the particular spiritual needs of the aging and dying. Our Christian heritage permeates through a spirit of compassion and hospitality put forth by all of our staff and residents, while honoring the religious beliefs of all people who are a part of Congregational Home.

A chaplain is on staff to care for the spiritual needs of our community
by leading worship services, directing programs, and one on one visitation. The chaplain serves as a Pastor to our community, providing a theological perspective to our mission and pastoral care to our people. Pastor Joe Phillips is available to offer prayer, sacraments, council and support during staffed hours and upon request.

Our chapel serves as a centering point for our community.
The chaplain leads an interdenominational service on Sunday mornings, and additional spiritual programs and activities carry on throughout the week. It serves as a place for quiet reflection as well as a gathering place for group activities.

In partnership with the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Franklin, WI, Catholic mass is provided once a week.
St. Joseph's Parish in Wauwatosa provides a Sunday Morning Communion Service. Additionally a Prayer Room is maintained for Eucharistic Meditation and is available 24 hours a day to all people.
